Tutoring by George collects only the information needed to arrange and deliver tutoring: the name and contact details of the parent or student, the course being tutored, session history, and notes George records after a session.

How information is used

Contact details are used to schedule sessions, send confirmations and reminders, and reply to enquiries. Session notes are used to plan future sessions and share progress with the family. Information is never sold or shared for marketing.

Payments

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Card numbers are never stored by Tutoring by George; only the amount, status and a payment reference are retained.

Students under 18

Accounts and bookings are made by a parent or guardian. Session notes about a student are available to that student's parent or guardian.

Retention and access

Records are kept while the family is an active client and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting purposes. You may request a copy of your information, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by contacting George.
